Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join the team at Marlborough House.

As a Staff Nurse you will work as part of our Multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to our patients and support our trust on it’s Journey to Outstanding Care.

You will work within a needs-led model of care and will work in co-production with patients.

As a member of the nursing team, you are expected to demonstrate attitudinal competences through a professional, approachable, and helpful manner towards clients, their families and carers, visitors, and colleagues throughout the organisation. You are also expected to actively support high standards of care delivery and challenge poor practice should you find it.

Continuous Professional Development

The Trust provides a sound preceptorship programme to support newly qualified nurses to aid their development. As a nurse, you would be encouraged to work alongside the ward management team in facilitating this programme.

You will have extensive experience within a Nursing Role. We have an excellent relationship with local universities and post-graduate training providers. In addition to this you will have access to both local and trust training to support your continuing professional development.

It is mandatory for you to complete Management of Violence Aggression Training, Breakaway Training and other training directly related to the job.

You will work a rotating shift pattern Early, Late and Nights to cover our 24 hour 7 day a week service. All candidates must be computer literate.

• Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
