Position Overview & Specifications

Live-in Carer

Oxford House Community Care provides high quality Personal Care, Support and Companionship to people in their own homes. We provide person-centred care that reflects not only their health and well-being needs, but also their personal preferences and interests, giving them choice and control. Our Carers will provide assistance with personal care, medication tasks, shopping, laundry, meal preparation, community inclusion and waking night support.

Oxford House Community Care are looking for experienced, kind and compassionate live-in Carers. We do not have a sponsor licence, the applicant will need to be living in the UK and have right to work.

- Location: Maidenhead and surrounding areas.

- Salary: £750 to £850 per week

- Full Time or to cover i.e. 10 days every six weeks plus holiday cover

- Experience essential

Job Description:

As a live-in carer, you may be involved with:

  • Companionship - spending time with and interacting with the client. This may involve accompanied trips into the community
  • Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, and continence support
  • Helping with mobility
  • Overseeing medication – all according to the customer’s client's care plan
  • Household duties – help with cleaning, washing clothes, ironing
  • Preparing and cooking meals. Nutrition and hydration support.
  • Shopping and picking up prescriptions
  • Any other reasonable tasks as per the care plan
