Job Responsibilities

• Groom and style pets per owner's instruction and/or according to breed standards
• Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
• Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
• Good organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Ability to handle dogs behavior

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of grooming experience preferred
• Knowledge of grooming practices for wide range of dog sizes
• Scissoring skills
• Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 90 pounds
• Calming presence to sooth dogs
• Great communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
• Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Jose, CA 95123: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
