We are currently looking for a Tutor who is able to provide tutoring sessions to secondary age students studying Maths and English. The successful Tutor will cover Maths and English in a combination of online and face-to-face sessions. All tutoring sessions are based in Croydon or within a commutable distance.

Specialists are ideal but the ability to develop relationships and deliver exciting lessons on a 1:1 basis is more important. Your tutoring style will be flexible and adaptable and you will show empathy in difficult circumstances but be able to offer encouragement and support to students and parents alike. You will tutor using an online platform of plans combined with your own knowledge and experience with the ultimate goal of engaging students in their learning.

To qualify for this tutor role in Croydon you will need:

• Experience working with students aged 10 - 16
• A basic working knowledge of the KS2, KS3 or KS4 national curriculum
• A supportive and caring approach to tutoring students
• A working knowledge of SEND
