Penguin London are a bespoke travel company providing travel solutions to clients in the film, TV and sport industries and we are looking for a new valued partner to join our team. We're looking for a diligent and responsible individual to assist with bookings of hotels, flights, private jets, rental cars and chauffeurs for our ever growing list of clients. As a young, family-run business you will be part of a small, close and friendly team working together in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of sports and entertainment travel.
Your day-to-day
As part of the role you could be spending your time:
- Managing the booking of flights, hotels, car rental and transfers for groups of people attending events around the world.
- Booking of flights via GDS (Sabre) alongside making group airline bookings.
- Booking of private jets and helicopters and management of the flight, catering and transfers around the booking.
- Producing accurate travel itineraries that are circulated to all attendees.
- Negotiating group rates with travel suppliers so that Penguin London get the most competitive rates on the market.
- Post-event invoicing and reconciliation.
- Supporting the wider team with other tasks where required.
To join our team, you’ll ideally have an events or travel background with demonstrable experience within all or several the following:
- Working on events/travel for individuals or large numbers of people at once
- Hotel bookings and rooming lists
- Private and commercial flight bookings
- Car rental booking
- Accurate creation and maintenance of itineraries for multiple events
- Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £24,000.00 per year
