Self Employed Support Workers in Teversham Drift CB1

About the service user

We are a family looking for a self-employed worker/s to support us with personal care tasks and housekeeping. We are two middle aged adults living in Teversham Drift CB1 with our young son.

Due to long term health conditions we both require assistance with our personal care. This involves tasks such as help getting washed and dried, applying ointments to maintain skin integrity and provide foot care.

We also require some support with household tasks such as changing bedsheets, doing laundry, keeping the kitchen and common areas of the property clean.

Hours and rate of Pay

Times can be discussed and agreed at interview, ideally, we would like personal care support for 1 hour daily 7 days a week in the evenings, and 1 hour 3 times a week for assistance with household tasks at any time.

Up to £18.47 an hour for support with personal care needs and up to £14 an hour for support with household tasks.

Some additional hours may be needed on occasions.

You should already be self-employed (or be prepared to become self-employed – guidance can be given) with a Unique Tax Reference Number and have or be willing to obtain Public Liability Insurance.

As we have a young child – you must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

What you would be doing…

Supporting a couple with their personal care needs and assisting with household tasks, with some flexibility on both sides.

Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis.
