Hedley’s Horizons is a busy, vibrant, and varied environment that supports disabled adults with cerebral palsy, communication and sensory impairments and complex learning needs including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions. We offer a choice of activities that meet peoples' aspirations, needs and preferences, thus offering a very individual programme with support from a highly skilled and dedicated staff team.

The Role

Hedley’s Horizons is part of Adult Services which support individuals to participate in a variety of activities and enterprise sessions. It offers a busy, vibrant, and varied environment that supports disabled adults with autism, communication and sensory impairments and complex needs. On offer is a wide choice of activities that meet people's aspirations, needs and preferences, thus offering a very individual programme with support from a highly skilled and dedicated team.

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work in our Horizons service. The role will involve working

Mondays 8.45 - 4.15pm

Tuesdays 8.45 - 4.00pm

Wednesdays 8.45 - 4.00pm (6.00pm once every 4 weeks)

Thursdays 8.45- 4.00pm

Fridays 8.45 - 4.00pm

It is important to be a real team player. Flexibility with an ability to adapt and respond to evolving situations is an important skill for our team that helps us maintain the highest level of care and support. Experience working with individuals with ASC or PMLD would be desirable.
