Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting Warehouse Order Picker's for our client who are the world's largest provider of airline catering and in-flight services. Its primary business function is to prepare the bar/trolley carts for the aircraft with snacks, drinks (including alcoholic) and general duty free goods.

Warehouse Order Picker - Involves downloading picks from computer system, use of hand scanner for order picking. Picking order and packing into trolley as you go. Accuracy is of paramount importance. Basic computer/keyboards skills required. It's a fast paced picking warehouse environment so you must be able to read, pick & pack at pace. Stock includes drinks, crisps, snack boxes, nuts, chocolate and some duty free stock . Task specific training will be given.

HOURS/SHIFTS
Based at Birmingham Airport -
You will be required to work 0600 & 1400 starts on a weekly rotating shift pattern
Working an average of 40 hours on a set rota and will involve working on Saturday and Sundays

PAY RATES
The hourly rate of pay will be £10.42 per hour increasing to £10.90 per hour upon 12 weeks service, after which you'll be eligible to transfer to the company on a seasonal contract.
Regular extra shifts for overtime available.

Criminal background check / DBS

Experience of working within a warehouse/stores environment is necessary with picking & packing experience. A good standard of English language (reading, writing and spoken) required. Having a good work ethic, 100% attendance, being flexible in your approach to work and a desire to work hard as part of a team is a must.
