Our prestigious Porsche Centre in Aberdeen is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be varied but purchase ledger driven therefore successful candidates need to have purchase ledger experience. Automotive finance experience is highly advantageous.

• In absence of FC, ensure sufficient knowledge to be a reliable
• support to management team and manage the rest of the accounts function.
• Pro-actively support FC in all areas of finance function as required.
• Ensure any departmental issues identified are resolved or escalated to FC.
• Participate where required in the preparation of the site payroll submission and sales advisor commission statements for FC review.
• Oversee the sales and purchase ledger function, ensuring FC is aware of any issues.
• Participate in the preparation’s stages of the weekly forecasting and identify any trends or anomalies to aid the FC in finalisation.
• Actively participate in areas of the monthly accounts process as directed by the FC.
• Process Manufacturer Bonus Credit notes.
• Complete VSB reports in agreed timescale and inform FC of any issues identified.
• Accurately complete accounts stats.

• Knowledge of Kerridge or similar Automotive software is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Work as a team player and confidently on your own.
