Construction Coordinator

Petrofac is seeking a Construction Coordinator - Contractor for 6 months based in Great Yarmouth, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

Scope of Services:

Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment:

• Ensure all personnel and vendors are inducted and mobilized as per project schedule.
• Ensure all delivery of safety related activities to the offshore project team meets the standards required by Petrofac.
• Single point of contact for offshore questions and queries.
• Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fit-for-purpose engineering
• Input Construction Technical expertise to the Engineering process
• Oversee the project in line with the EPS BMS (Business Management System) and in accordance with relevant Petrofac / project procedures
• Carry out / assist with incident investigations where required
• Be fully conversant with Petrofac EPS HSEQ plan
• Be fully aware of annual Safety Targets
• Be fully aware of procedure when an offshore colleague is forwarded onshore for any medical checks or treatments/ medivacs

Deliverables:

Services should be provided to produce the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.

Key deliverables to include:

• Ensure that the project generated planning documentation reflects a fit-for-purpose design and complies with project requirements
• Collate and issue reports of weekly progress and productivity via planning
• Ensure onshore and offshore resource requirements for project are planned in a timely manner
• Ensure manning plan is updated as per project requirements
• Ensure weekly logistics meeting is attended with the 28-day forecast
• Ensure Management of Change process is adhered to
• Ensure certification process is implemented and followed
• Ensure all project Plant and Equipment is maintained and managed
• Prepare, update, distribute and progress daily action tracker
• Chair daily and weekly progress meetings
• Review daily timesheets and ensure correct booking codes are available
• Co-ordinate weekly materials shipping call off
• Check and update project offshore POB and distribute to logistics as required
• Prepare and issue requisitions as per Petrofac procedure
• Assist with development of work-packs
• Respond to any medevac as per Petrofac procedure
• Facilitate constructability reviews
• Ensure all first and following trip assessments are undertaken
