Veil Production Coordinator & Personal Fittings Assistant

The role will be multifaceted across the company with a priority focus on assisting in the running of client fittings, offering our global clients the highest level of customer service at all times. Based in The Conservatory, you will also be using the highest quality materials to create both client and sample veils for one of London’s leading couture bridal designers.

You will be joining us at an exciting expanding time, with the recent growth into The Conservatory, where you will be based. However, with our Shop and Atelier also in the vicinity, you will be working hand in hand with our whole artisan team.

We are searching for a genuine team player with a long-term commitment to the brand and a love and passion for couture to join our talented Phillipa Lepley 20 strong team.

What to Expect:

• Assisting in client fittings to be on hand for anything the fitter may require before, during and after an appointment.
• Welcoming clients to The Conservatory and providing the highest level of customer service at all times.
• General organisation and upkeep of The Conservatory.
• Being the main assistant to the Director of Fittings, providing support across a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of The Conservatory and a seamless client experience.
• Managing the production of veils, both sample and couture

Essential skills:

• Good understanding of proportion, pattern cutting and paper patterns for embroidery placement.
• A strong understanding of couture hand sewing, hand guided machine embroidery, lace appliqué & trimming.
• Good knowledge in mathematics.
• Great communication.
• Extremely organised.
• Strong time management skills and prioritisation with the ability to work under specific and tight timelines.
• A highly creative individual, confident and adaptable.
• A professional and discrete attitude.
• The ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility.
• Highly driven and pro-active.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• A good team player.
• Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word.
