Delivery Drivers – Van, Insurance, Fuel Provided!

Remuneration

• BASIC PAY RATE - £12.00 per hour / £108.00 per day + metric related bonus scheme of up to £7,020 per annum. Equivalent to £28,080 - £33,696 per annum/pro rata (based on 45-54 hour working week)

Weekly payments two weeks in arrears

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be required to;

· Hold a valid full driving licence (held for at least 12 months), with a maximum of 6 points and no active IN, DR or TT codes

· Complete a background check and workplace drug & alcohol testing requirements

· Commute to & from the Delivery Station, based in Swindon

· Adhere to ALL road safety regulations

· Typically work for 9 hours per day across 5 days, including some weekend work

· Be flexible & adaptable to support multiple routes

· Load vans & deliver packages, by driving, stepping in & out of the vehicle safely

· Sometimes walk-up flights of stairs to deliver packages

· Be able to lift & deliver packages up to 23 kg

· Find customer addresses via GPS & operate an electronic delivery technology device for records

· Maintain a customer first approach & attitude

· Be a proactive independent problem solver with exceptional communication skills

· Always comply with Company policy and reporting measures

COVID-19 considerations:
PPE is provided and ALL drivers will be required to wear face masks whilst, delivering to customer addresses & maintain social distancing at all times.

Delivery vehicles must be sanitised each day, with particular attention paid to common contact points

Experience:

• delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
• driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• UK/EU Manual Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road
