Part-time Accounts Clerk

We are on the look-out for an experienced accounts professional to join our franchise branch in Northampton. Specialising in hydraulic hoses, pipe fittings and couplings, Pirtek have service centres and on-site teams working in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK.

Key duties and responsibilities.

The role involves maintaining the day to day accounting records of the business including the following tasks

Bank Reconciliation

Sales and Purchase ledger

Payroll management

Credit Control

Vat returns

Petty Cash

Preparation of the monthly financial statements

The support of the sales team and franchise owner when required

Experience in a similar role is required

Essential skills are a good understanding of accounting software and bookkeeping, basic computer skills, good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly in a small team.

Accounting qualification desirable but not essential

We are looking for someone with a willingness to work well under pressure and is flexible.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: From £15.00 per hour
