About the Opportunity

Poundland are looking for a hard working and relable individuals to join the Springvale Depot. The role is a multi skilled position and colleagues will be expected to undertake a variety of different tasks as and when required.

Job Overview:

To carry out all trained warehouse duties assigned, to enable the smooth and efficient movement of stock from Goods-In to Goods-Out, and ensure the timely preparation of store orders to the highest standard of quality and accuracy.

Available Shift Patterns:

We currently have the following shifts available:

Friday to Tuesday :

Week 1: Week 2:

Monday 6-2pm Monday 2-10pm

Tuesday 6-2pm Tuesday 2-10pm

Friday 2-10pm Friday 6-2pm

Saturday 2-10pm Saturday 6-2pm

Sunday 2-10pm Sunday 6-2pm


Thusday to Monday :

Week 1: Week 2:

Monday 6-2pm Monday 2-10pm

Thursday 2-10pm Thursday 6-2pm

Friday 2-10pm Friday 6-2pm

Saturday 2-10pm Saturday 6-2pm

Sunday 2-10pm Sunday 6-2pm


Friday to Monday, ( 4 days on 3 days off)

Key Accountabilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • To correctly carry out any operational function, once trained to do so, i.e. goods in, loading, containers or any other reasonable request.
  • To meet productivity and accuracy targets set by Management.
  • To ensure that the correct products are received and loaded prior to store delivery, in line with the Company procedures.
  • To ensure that all training related to Health and Safety is adhered to
  • To safely operate all equipment once trained
  • Always adhere to safe manual handling techniques.
  • To wear all personal protective equipment supplied at all times within the warehouse.

Know How:

  • Computer literate and willing to be be trained on inhouse systems
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of warehousing and distribution.

  • Is able to work as an individual, or as a team player within the company guidelines.

  • Be IT lliterate and able to learn our onsite system and perform data entry duties

  • A strong solutions focus – being comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions in a cost effective way.
  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organisation.
  • Liasing with delivey drivers on arrival
  • Has common sense and is self motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
