Position Overview & Specifications
accessible, appropriate, and responsive NHS 111 Mental Health Service for
residents in Powys.
Develop and coordinate a service that provides effective triage, evidence
based mental wellbeing advice and ensure appropriate onward referral to
local statutory, Third Sector and digital/on-line services.
Where needed, this will also include Crisis Mental Health services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsible for the continued development of the NHS 111 Mental Health
service in Powys and will ensure service delivery is of a high professional
standard, in line with Health Board policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective care through the holistic and
comprehensive assessment of service user’s needs, planning,
implementation, and review in accordance with CTP policy and
procedures.
Responsibility for managing adverse incidents, suicide and
untoward/unexpected death incidents ensuring that these are recorded,
processed and policy implemented.
Organise student placements and to ensure effective professional
supervision, mentorship and preceptorship is provided for students, newly
qualified and newly appointed members of staff.
Deputise on behalf of the Adult Service Manager and be part of the On-call rota.
