Salary: £10 Per hour
Contract: Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm

Do you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care, or residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If you are new to care, full training will be provided. We are just looking for caring and compassionate people who want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Service
Vermont is a relaxed, large family home which just happens to be a residential service for men based in Sutton Coldfield. We have space for up to 7 adults across 2 floors with plenty of room for everyone. The individuals who currently live here have learning disabilities, autism, complex or challenging behaviour needs. Some can go do things independently and just need a little reassurance whilst others need support with everything.

Support Worker duties:

• Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
• Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
• Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
• This includes employment, education and other opportunities
• Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
• Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
• Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
