This is an exciting FULL TIME/PART TIME opportunity to join our progressive team as a REMOTE independent pharmacist prescriber.

Your role is to:
- Consult with patients digitally. Undertake online consultations and prescribe when appropriate
- Follow our strict guidelines for prescribing
- Maintain quality and standards of prescribing according to NICE
- Use our secure comprehensive IT platform for all patient interactions
- Undertake video or telephone consultations when needed
- Maintain close working links with other clinicians in the organisation
- Deal with complex queries both patient and service specific
- Respond to queries submitted by patients and internal team
- Write and update policies and processes related to prescribing and the prescription process
- Monitoring of high risk prescribing areas
- Liaise with technical and development teams to produce the best products for our patients and clinicians.
Person must have:
- Independent prescriber
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- You will be aware of your own limitations and of relevant national guidelines
- You will have experience of consulting with patients and making independent decisions
- Flexible with regards to working hours and location
- Good communicator
- Willingness to increase your clinical scope of practice
- Loves technology, IT literate & able to use multiple systems
- Ability to problem solve unique scenarios presented by patients
Qualifications & Experience:
- Independent prescriber
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Registered as a pharmacist for a minimum of 3 years Ability to consult and prescribe in various therapeutic areas
- Ability to make independent clinical decisions within scope of practice
