Care Assistant – Prestbury House Care Home – Macclesfield. We are looking for care assistants or individuals who would like to develop a career in Health & Social Care to join the team in our beautiful care home in Macclesfield.

About us: Prestbury House provides 24-hour residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 75 elderly residents in a beautifully decorated, modern care home. As part of the award winning Porthaven Group, we deliver outstanding care for our residents.

About the role: Under the guidance of a Team Leader on duty, you will be a part of a dedicated team assisting residents with personal care and providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.

About you: Cheerful, caring and compassionate by nature, with good reading, writing and communication skills. Experience is preferred, but not as essential as your genuine desire to develop or progress a career in this field. Weekend availability is highly desirable. Successful appointments are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check, and candidates must be authorised to work in the EU.
