Maintenance

Alphonsus House is situated in Langley, near Oldbury, in the West Midlands. The service is split into 3 houses and a bungalow, each offering a homely environment. We have the facilities to support 19 individuals across the 4 units. The dedicated staff at Alphonsus House provide 24-hour support

As a Maintenance Assistant your primary duty will be to ensure that the people, we support live in a home that is a safe environment for them that adheres to health and safety standards.

You will need to work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure that all fixtures and fittings are in excellent condition and equipment is regularly serviced.

Duties will include:

Ensuring the home is maintained as a safe and secure place to live for the residents. To ensure all health and safety checks are completed.

Maintaining the home and grounds to ensure they are in excellent condition at all times

Work closely with the Registered Manager on long term maintenance plans

Check and repair fixtures and fittings that may include lighting and heating
