Healthcare Assistant

Priory Hospital Woodbourne are recruiting for permanent, full and part time Healthcare Assistants to join their team.

• Able to work our shifts - 7.30am to 8pm for days and 7.30pm to 8am for nights?
• Flexible to work across days and nights?
• Available to interview on either 15th or 16th of March?
• Passionate about supporting those with Mental Health conditions?
• Experienced in providing care?

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their skills and experiences in observation, delivery of care and involvement in recreational and educational activities delivering care and observing and monitoring the well-being of patients, ensuring that any unusual occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate. You will be caring and attentive with the ability to build strong and trusting relationships with others.

We are looking for committed people who can display the desired behaviours to be effective in the role and who can worked the shifts required.

The role concerns providing practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with personal and therapeutic needs ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation. It is vital that you can work well as a team as you will be working alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

The hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care for adults aged 18-25 years, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, specialist Eating Disorder (including day care) and private acute and addictions treatment programmes. With 78 beds across 7 wards, our multi-disciplinary teams deliver personalised treatment programmes to our patients and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.
