Carpenter – Solar Panel Installation Technician

We are looking for experienced and talented carpenters on a subcontractor basis.

Pro-Fit Green Energy is an exciting new company embarking into the world of Renewable Energy whilst we continue expanding at a rapid rate and to meet the demand of customers and contracts won, we are looking to bring some likeminded individuals on board. The company is looking for self-employed staff who are extremely organised, personable and qualified in carpentry. Workers who want to further their career with one of the up-and-coming solar installation companies in the United Kingdom. The role

Working alongside our team of electricians you will be responsible for mounting and installing the solar PV systems mainly in domestic properties. Working to a schedule issued from the project coordinator within the team. Directly reporting to the Solar Install Manager.

About you

• Be up to date with relevant and latest qualifications.
• Confident with working at heights.
• Experience in solar PV is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Always ensure works are compliant with industry standards.
• Always maintain health and safety standards.
• Full driving license
• Use of own hand and power tools.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Good customer service and communication skills – With clients/customers.
• Motivated, driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• To remain calm, focused and can adapt to overcome issues onsite.
