Insurance Analyst

Pro currently has some exciting opportunities for Technical Analysts to join our Outsourcing teams on a permanent basis. The job holder will meet all Client service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the processing of Insurance documentation.

Pro operates a hybrid working model and this role will be working mainly from home, with travel to the Liverpool office on a weekly basis, and other hubs on occasion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing Insurance documentation into the client systems.
• Processing tasks accurately, in an efficient manner, in line with client SLA’s.
• Ability to quality control processing work and identify anomalies and errors
• Training new members of the team and providing ongoing assistance for the resolution of queries raised by the client or members of the team.
• Dealing with clients in a professional manner over the phone or via email.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs.
• Assisting with daily and weekly client reports.
• Attending weekly client calls.

Skills and Experience

• Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel at an Intermediate level is desirable.
• Understanding of principles of insurance is essential.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the insurance market would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of various classes of business, such as marine, energy and non-marine, specialty and casualty is desirable.
• Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
