Prospero Health and Social are currently recruiting on behalf of our client; for a highly skilled team of Care Support Worker's to join their team in Aberystwyth. This organisation provides services to young adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities. Your role as a care support worker will be to support the individual with all aspects of their daily lives as per their individual needs and in accordance with their evolving personal plans to support them to live their best possible lives. This is a full-time role (32 hours per week as a minimum) and £220 per day pay.
Requirements
- Have experience with manual handling, hoists and transfers.
- Have experience with personal care including body washing and pad changes.
- Hold or be in the process of undertaking a minimum of Lv3 in Health and Social Care.
- Have experience in supporting children/adults with disabilities.
- Driving license, access to a car and willingness to drive for work.
- Access to a reliable car due to rural 'farm' area.
- Desire for personal and professional development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good standard of verbal and written English.
- Personal integrity and trustworthiness.
- Positive attitude.
- Willing to embrace change and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning throughout the service.
