Are you a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for an exciting opportunity to join a state-of-the-art practice? Look no further! Our client is a vibrant veterinary practice located in Lancashire, offering excellent facilities and a supportive team environment. Conveniently situated close to Poulton le Fylde, with easy access via motorway links, rail, and bus, the practice is bright, spacious, and purpose-built to industry-leading standards.

Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional pet healthcare and outstanding customer service. They are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. They are flexible in their approach to recruitment, accommodating the needs of the right candidate.

The ideal candidate would have a strong medical or surgical background/interest, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. However, our client is open to considering candidates who specialise in either operations or consultations. If you possess a genuine passion for providing top-notch care to animals and have a desire to excel in your field, we want to hear from you!

Our client encourages professional development within the team and actively supports team members in pursuing certifications and special interests. As a member of the practice, you will have access to industry-leading equipment, including digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, visiting MRI, and up-to-date monitoring tools. Their facilities also boast a comprehensive range of resources, such as digital radiography, ultrasonography, air-conditioned waiting room, ultrasonic dental equipment, and underfloor heating in kennels, cattery, and throughout the building.

Currently the team consists of 2 vets, supported by 4 nurses, 3 VCA’s and 8 receptionists. Each member is passionate about providing the best care for clients and their beloved pets. The Rota:

  • Full time role – 4 day week
  • Weekday shifts are 8.30am – 7pm
  • Shared weekend rota: Saturdays are 8.30am – 5pm and Sundays are 9.30am – 12.30pm
