Front of House Staff (Halfway Hut)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Front of House Team Member (Halfway Hut)

Responsible to: The FOH & Events Coordinator and through them the Board of
Management.

Responsible for the provision of efficient and courteous halfway hut and related services to members and visitors.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Halfway Hut (main area of specialisation)

1. Undertaking the tasks described in the Halfway Hut Operating Procedures Manual in a timely and efficient manner.

2. The preparation of food (sandwiches, etc.) and the serving of members/guests.

3. Maintaining stocks in accordance with the policy laid down by the Company.

4. Maintaining equipment, external areas, tables, etc. are in clean and good working order.

General

5. Ensuring that proper standards of health & safety at work are maintained, and that the procedures for the safe operation of the Club’s equipment are followed at all times.

6. Ensuring that when at work you are suitably dressed and PPE worn when required.

7. To be fully conversant with the Club Rules and Policies regarding Visitors, Societies and Members.

8. Accounting daily for all takings, providing analysis thereof as required by the FOH Manager.

9. Recording waste foods, drinks and materials in the proper manner as directed by the FOH.

10. Reporting immediately to the FOH any deficiency in cleanliness, damage or necessary repairs to the facilities of the Club.

11. Acting as a key holder for the Clubhouse, being responsible for locking up as directed by the FOH Manager, at times as laid down by the Company.

12. Generally assisting the FOH in any other aspects as may reasonably be requested.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
