Skills and experience
Experience as a Software Architect or similar.
Deep understanding of a variety of technologies, platforms and architectural best practice.
Evidence of architecting quality software products.
Good understanding of emerging technologies.
Relevant coding experience is beneficial - C#, .NET Framework, Python, Angular, MicroServices, Cloud Capabilities
Mentoring and coaching experience.
About the team
Operate Digital is the central function that creates and runs technology. We also transform the way our clients use technology in delivering assets to our clients across a wide range of business processes. Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.
As Software Architect, your responsibilities will include;
Design and build the software architectural blueprints for the ARC platform and related projects.
Bring your knowledge of leading edge technologies to design a platform that is flexible, secure and robust.
Work with a wide range of stakeholders including Business sponsors, Product Managers and other Technologists to deliver our vision, securing their endorsement.
Work collaboratively with the Cloud Architect to ensure all key architectural elements are addressed, such as software, security, data, environments, and alignment to PwC policy.
Consult with Solution Architects and Lead Developers as they implement your blueprints.
Innovate whilst selecting the best tools and emerging technologies.
Support the department leads to set the strategy, grow the team and manage the software factory operation.
