The Role

We have an excellent career opportunity for an Analytical Data Reviewer at the site in Nottingham.

As the Analytical Data Reviewer, you will assure the quality of laboratory write-ups and reports by reviewing chromatographic data and related write-ups as specified by Standard Operating Procedures.

Working collaboratively with the Analytical Scientists, you will review analytical testing to ensure this is conducted in accordance with analytical methods and method qualification protocols and that the data obtained is correct. This will include reviewing data obtained from testing development samples to aid formulation decisions and also cleaning verification assessments.

You will ensure work performed by the analysis team is compliant with applicable procedures and analytical methods, and verify all affiliated data including electronic data and respective notebooks, logbooks, and worksheets are complete and reviewed.

You will discuss with analysts when necessary to resolve all required corrections to paperwork and educate analysts to improve analytical data documentation & reporting. You will communicate frequently with management, keeping them informed of potential delays in data review, reasons why the delay is occurring and also provide immediate notification of any deviations/discrepancies.

This is a hybrid role.

The Candidate

The Analytical Data Reviewer is a fundamental role to the Analytical Development team. To be successful in this role you will have great communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently interpret and analyse data. The successful candidate will ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a Life Science or equivalent, combined with 3 years’ experience in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory or equivalent, with experience in HPLC analysis of Pharmaceutical drug products.

Analysis experience of HPLC, dissolution testing, inhalation testing and particle size analysis would be beneficial as well as use of Chromeleon and Chemstation software.
