Retail Assistant

R. Yates and Sons Ltd is a busy Country store in the centre of Malton. We are currently recruiting for a full time Retail assistant to join the team in our busy White Goods and Stove/Fireside Dept. This Department covers all our White goods - Washing machines, Tumble Dryers, Range Cookers, Ovens, Fridges & Freezers Heaters and small electrical applicances plus our Fireside products.

We are looking for an individual with strong Customer service skills and preferably retail experience, although training will be given. The ideal candidate will be practical and able to lift as duties include bringing stock in from the warehouse. Other responsibilities include pricing, merchandising, display, serving customers, checking stock and placing orders with suppliers.

This is a busy department offering a wide variety of products and the ideal candidate will be quick to learn and assist customers with their requirements.

This role is anticipated to be 71/2 hours per day / 5 days per week, including some weekend work.
