An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, focused, high achieving individual within our dedicated quality function. A key role, founded on the testing and release of components and products, working positively with on-site groups to resolve quality issues, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
The Role:
Working in laboratory conditions, you will test components and products in accordance with UK and International standards, quality plans and agreed targets without compromising test validity.
You will provide assistance in the assessment of new and innovative products to fulfil our need to continue our competitive edge within the market place.
Preparing product samples for both internal and external testing, ensuring products reach appropriate test facility.
Contribute to the development of the team through active involvement in team meetings, objectives, project work and communications.
Control, compliance and management of resin deliveries. Flexibility is key. The successful candidate will be required to cover shift leave from time to time.
The Candidate:
You will have a demonstrated commitment to quality and of meeting customer expectations, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
With a good standard of education, including IT/keyboard skills, you will have a working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Proven experience in testing to standards, along with product testing techniques, you will ideally have working knowledge of injection moulding and/or extrusion manufacturing.
A strong team player, with highly co-operative approach, you will be committed to supporting the team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential with the flexibility to deal with individuals at all levels, and the ability to cover shifts.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.

Salary: £30,352.00 per year
