Job Description
Radiology Administration Assistant | Duchy Hospital | Part Time 22.5 Hours
A vacancy has arisen for an office administrator in the Imaging Department. Excellent communication, time management and computer skills are essential for the role. Previous experience of patient and radiology administration systems would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The successful candidate will need to be able to work conscientiously and proactively in a dynamic environment.
The role will be varied providing assistance to the imaging manager, the radiographers and their administrator colleagues. The responsibilities will be numerous but will be focused on, booking appointments and dealing with telephone enquiries. Previous experience in these areas is desirable but not essential.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with consultants, colleagues, patients and visitors on a day to day basis
  • Provide a high level of customer service by responding efficiently to telephone calls, enquiries and requests
  • Be able to work in a team
  • Be able to work under own initiative and have an ability to prioritise own workload

Duchy Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. We are currently developing plans for a significant build to increase our facilities and capacity further.
