Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for Baggage/ Ramp Agents at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a permanent role at the Airport.

Responsibilities

• To undertake all activities airside within the Baggage Services dept by the physical loading and off loading of carts/bins to and from the aircraft.
• To ensure the company meets and exceeds the required standards of customer satisfaction, health & safety, agreed quality standards and performance targets. Responsible for the smooth running of the daily operation within the Baggage Services dept, in the most cost effective manner ensuring that all airline customers, HAL and other relevant procedures are met and without compromising health & safety and security regulations.
• Support any Baggage Service activity proactively
• Ensure that the best possible customer service is applied to all airlines customers and ensure highly professional communication to airline staff and crews, being responsive to their needs.
• Maintains top level uniform standards and sets example him/herself.
• Ensure that problems, health & safety concerns and improvement opportunities get proactively reported to the Baggage Services Supervisor, BDO or to Management.

Shift Patterns

Average 42.5 hrs per week, a mixture of early and later shifts.

Due to the nature of the position, we do expect you to be flexible with your availability to work.

Early shifts can start from 4:00am. Late shifts can finish up to 11pm

Pay rate

£29,000 (approx. including shift pay and guaranteed bonus)

Potential to earn an additional £500 per year in bonuses

Any overtime hours worked will be paid at x1.5 of the basic rate

Requirements

Due to the location of work being at the airport you must qualify. Therefore, you will need to be able to provide the following information:

• 5-year checkable history (employment, self-employment, education or benefit claim)
• 3-year UK address history
• Eligibility to work in UK (UK Passport, EU Passport, Non-EU Passport & Visa, Biometric Residence Permit, UK Birth Certificate & (British citizens only)
• Provide proof of NI
• Provide proof of address dated within the last 3mths (utility bill, bank statement,HMRC Letter)

Salary: £24,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
