Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

Redline have partnered with an Oxfordshire based leading Engineering company who are looking for an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to take part in a unique project. This is an initial 6-month opportunity with long-term potential to extend far beyond.

Working with ground-breaking technology and specialising in the design of high-tech equipment, their products are used across a range of applications within industries such as instrumentation and science. Their products are designed and developed in the UK, and as a result of significant investment and major project wins, they are seeking a range of professional contractors.

On a day-to-day basis, the successful Contract Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for cradle to grave projects, and providing high level design using Creo.

As the Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, Oxfordshire, you will need:

• Proven Creo or CATIA experience
• Experience with DFM
• Experience working full life-cycle projects

This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.
