Production Assistant - Personalised Gifts

We are a family run business working in online retail. We engrave personalised gifts for all different occasions & events. Our aim is to supply our customers with unique gifts that we are proud of.

The Role

This role is based in our workshop in Axminster.

Your hours will be:

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8.00am to 12.00pm.

We sometimes need you to be a little flexible in the hours. If production has not quite finished at your allotted finish time you many need to stay a little longer.

In the very busy Christmas period we will require you to work additional hours. This will be discussed in the interview.

What would you be doing

As a Production Assistant you will be individually trained to run our laser engraving machines and shown how to pack the different items we sell for shipping. You’ll also be required to do many other jobs around the workshop including checking your colleagues work, filling up shelves, handling new stock deliveries & keeping the workshop clean & tidy.

Experience

We are looking for people who are:

· Able to start immediately

· Looking for long term work and want to learn new skills

· Practical and efficient, and take pride in your work

The Benefits

· Guaranteed hours of 12 hours a week minimum.

· Starting pay is £10.50 per hour.

Please note you must like dogs as we have 2 at the workshop with us.
