Location: Waltham Cross, Herts

Salary: £28,000

Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week

Core Hours: 7.00am to 4.00pm (excluding breaks)

Work closely with the Head of Technical across all the aspects of manufacturing including brand internal audits, Internal company policies and procedures.

• Responsible for daily audit of QMS records in the manufacturing units
• Responsible for daily audit of Goods in records and approved supplier updates in the manufacturing units
• Responsible for all the internal audits in manufacturing units.
• Responsible for maintaining the traceability of all raw products (chilled, frozen, frozen in house and filleting room)
• Assisting with preparations to achieve compliance for BRC and traceability audits.
• Assist in complaint investigations.
• Responsible for micro schedule update and sample collection for manufacturing units.
• Assist in Histamine testing.
• Providing support to other technical / quality departmental functions as reasonably requested.

To be successful in your application for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• HACCP experience
• Food Safety experience
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Structured and organised and comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good awareness and understanding of food legislation.
• High performing communicator across all levels of the business.
• Good level of attention to detail, understanding the need for continual improvement programs.
