RDaSH have been successful in securing additional funding to support the transformation of our Community Mental Health Services. As part of this development we are investing in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner roles.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our multidisciplinary teams working into Community Mental Health Teams and Primary Care Networks/Hubs in North Lincolnshire, as Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWP).
The trainee MHWP are an exciting brand-new role created by Health Education England and NHS England and Improvement to support the transformation of adult community mental health services. The training will be fully funded by the NHS, and you will be eligible for a full-time qualified position if you pass the course. In return we ask that you commit to staying with us for at least two years after you qualify.
As a Trainee MHWP, you will work within a supportive team environment, and you will be expected to work under supervision. Your main responsibility is to deliver evidenced based psychologically informed interventions to people with moderate to severe mental health problems and help support adults to receive the right care. You will need to have flexibility and adaptability and a passion for working with adults with severe mental health problems.
