Position Overview & Specifications
The Mortuary Service within Berkshire & Surrey Pathology Services are seeking a motivated and compassionate post mortem room/mortuary assistant at the facility within The Royal Surrey County Hospital
Based in Guildford, the department comprises a body store and overflow facilities able to accommodate up to 107 deceased, a chapel of rest and a 6 table post mortem room. The department performs in excess of 600 routine and special post mortems for HM Coroner Surrey and is the main facility in Surrey used for Forensic post mortems.
Applications are welcomed for the above position from candidates with experience of the industry in some capacity. Full in house training will be provided, although this post is not a Trainee APT post at this stage.
