Traffic Management Contracts Manager

Streetwise UK Management, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Traffic Management Contracts Manager on a full-time permanent basis to be located at our Cumbria depot in Penrith.

Streetwise UK Management are a former family run traffic managemnt business who has been recently acquired by RSK Group.

We are a provider of both high and low-speed traffic management and event solutions to blue-chip companies, major utility providers and public sector organizations. Our focus is to manage road networks to reduce congestion, disruption and changing travel behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Survey both 12d & 12ab works
• Create traffic management plans in line with Chapter 8 2009, Safety at Street Works and TSRGD 2002
• Maintenance of internal design records
• Build and maintain solid working relationships with clients
• Generate new business from existing customers while ensuring the efficient follow up of all potential customer opportunities
• Ensure all quotes/schedule rates are profitable
• Review the project schedule with other management and staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

Person Specification

• Demonstrable experience in traffic management
• Excellent knowledge of Chapter 8 & TRSGD
• Project planning background
• Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook
• Accounts/client management
• Ability to lead site-based meetings
• A full UK driving licence

Desirable

• License/Certifications:
  • NRSWA M7
  • 12A Foreman
• Bricscad / Auto-cad experience
• Cone10 experience
