About us:

Ruby is an e-commerce store that specialises in timber, home, and garden products. As a family-run business based in Devon, we take pride in offering high quality products and exceptional service. We have a small, yet dynamic marketing team within a fast growing company, providing an excellent opportunity for ambitious, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals.

The Role:

While prior experience is desirable, we welcome applicants with a willingness to learn and develop their skills in this field. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for creating, implementing and managing the company's social media strategy to increase online visibility and improve marketing efforts. This will include both through paid and organic reach. The successful candidate will also manage and monitor the company's social media presence, engage with followers and potential customers while generating leads / traffic to our website.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads
  • Manage and monitor the company's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Create engaging content, including text, image, and video, for social media accounts
  • Respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics, such as engagement, reach, and impressions, to measure the success of social media campaigns
  • Collaborate with other departments to create social media content and campaigns that align with overall marketing strategy
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media channels
  • Work with external partners, such as social media influencers and agencies, to drive brand awareness and reach a wider audience

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse data and performance metrics
  • Experience in tools such as: Google Analytics, Hootsuite (or alternative), Data

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
