Base Maintenance Consumables Store Person

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for a Base Maintenance Consumables Stores Person to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Reports to: Base Maintenance Stores Supervisor

Location: Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM), PIK Airport

Duties will include, but not limited to;

• Responsible for the control of all stock movements into and out of consumable store both physically and on our engineering computer system.
  
• Ensuring required stock levels are maintained.
• Ensuring all materials are controlled in accordance with internal processes and quality procedures.
• Mixing and dispensing required amounts of Chemicals/Paint.
• Enforcement of PAML Consumable Parts process.
• Supply weekly usage reports.
• Monitor and report on trends/abnormal usage

Requirements

• Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative
• Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word or Smartsheet
• Knowledge of AMOS advantageous
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Experience working within the Airline Industry advantageous

• Effective communication skills at all levels

• Warehouse experience

• Applicants should have unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidate is required to provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports.
