The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

As a Manufacturer at Safran Electrical & Power you will utilise the latest technology to assemble, build and maintain aircraft generators and motors, in addition to balancing rotor assemblies. Depending on your skills and background your role will be involved in the assembly, brazing, impreg, testing, surveying, stripping and/or fitting for our systems, as well as spray painting and masking & preparing the product for paint. If you have experience of the manufacturing or any Engineering product we would love to hear from you.

The Role

· Building and assembling of aircraft generators and rotors

· Balancing of rotor assemblies

· Operate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures

· Heating and freezing operation for stator sink

· Strip, survey and fitting experience for generators and motors

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to work area and processes

Desirable Experience

We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we’re also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have experience in fitting, assembly and/or test from any relevant industries we’d love to hear from you.
