Based in between Gloucester and Cheltenham, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team through a period of accelerated growth. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will manage supplier relationships and order books ensuring Safran meets delivery requirements and customer expectations.

You will:
Manage a portfolio of Suppliers to ensure business requirements are met

Undertake supplier performance analysis and impact reviews, implementing action plans, as well as participating in multisite Supplier business reviews

Work within a cross functional team to ensure successful work package transfers in the Supply Chain

Support effective implementation of Supplier Performance strategy and initiatives

Manage internal expectations with key Customers to ensure full customer satisfaction

Order book management: Analyse, process, confirm and communicate requirements to the supplier, negotiate dead-lines & quantities to meet business needs

Maintain ERP and manage inventory as well as review and upload the supplier schedules

You will have

Good working knowledge of ERP system (ideally SAP) and MRP2 Principles

Experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment preferred

Proven experience of building relationships with suppliers with strong negotiating and influencing skills

Computer literate in Word & Excel to include an intermediate knowledge of Excel
