The Data and Analytics team are responsible for all aspects of growing, managing, and enriching our customer data, understanding customer behaviour; analysing and interpreting marketing data; producing marketing reports and dashboards, and playing a critical role in the success of the marketing department as we move along our marketing transformation journey.
Your New Role:
Become the subject matter expert in ideating and building predictive models related to marketing and customer analytics.- Develop an in-depth understanding of data, platforms and datasets used by Marketing, acting as a central expert on customer insights.
- Build, train, test and help deploy Machine Learning models that have a strong commercial and customer impact.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders across divisions to understand the business strategy, make recommendations based on data and influence key stakeholders to make evidence-based decisions.
- Drive the effort for change in technology, data engineering and processes needed for data science techniques/models.
- Join other data science peers in the business and help build data literacy skills across the marketing department.
Qualifications & Education:
- Knowledgeable about the power of data and use customer insight to data science techniques to develop customer insights.
- Passionate about data modelling and evolving descriptive to predictive analytics.
- Expert data wrangler, able to quickly extract key themes when working with disparate customer data.
- Confident in making data-driven recommendations to shape Marketing strategy.
- Able to help build data literacy skills across the marketing department.
- Familiar with the Publishing industry and able to translate complex data into actionable insights through storytelling dashboards and visualizations.
- Comfortable in communication with both technical and marketing teams.
