This is an exciting opportunity to join Saint Gobain Interior Solutions on an Industrial Chemist placement year in one of our sites in and around the Eggborough area. The Role:

At Saint Gobain Interior Solutions our Industrial Chemist Student Placement will last for a minimum of 12 months.

You will gain experience within operations one of Saint Gobain Interior Solutions brands such as Celotex and Isover.

Our placement is in the following area:

• Insulation product development

What will I be doing?

• Hands-on work on projects using a range of skills and knowledge gained
• Shadowing our experienced colleagues and being guided through tasks
• Supporting the department on key tasks and projects, working both independently and within teams with constant support, guidance, and mentorship from our specialised colleagues
• Working in a lab environment independently or under supervision

What will I need to be considered?

• Relevant degree in Chemical, or Material Science disciplines (minimum of 2 year of studies completed)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ideally you will have used Microsoft suite software
• Strong Team working skills
• A desire to learn, develop and grow
• The confidence and vision to look at, as well as challenge, existing ways of working
• The ability to Interpret, analyse and understand data
