Position Overview & Specifications
In your role as Cancer Information Coordinator with the support of the Lead Cancer Nurse and Cancer Support Lead, you will work with the site specific teams and cancer services to: -
- Understand what information is currently being used
- Obtain copies of this information
- Optimise and agree future information
- Ensure all information is within Trust templates both print and digital
- Work with departments across the Trust to ensure information Is displayed in the appropriate areas
- Work with volunteers to ensure displays are maintained (version control and stocked)
- Work with the communication team to build an online information library
- Support in the development of an Information Hub
We are an acute Trust, rated “Good” by the CQC, with a track record of high performance providing regional and super regional specialist services such as: Burns, Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery, Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory, Wessex Rehabilitation, Spires Cleft Centre and the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre. We have about 470 beds and employ over 4000 staff.
