Position Overview & Specifications
Please do not apply for this role if you already hold the Customer Service Practioner level 2 qualification/award (NVQ or Standard) Apprenticeship entry requirements:
Apprentices will be required to have or achieve level 1 English and Maths and to have taken level 2 English and Maths tests prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.
Please ensure you include all your qualifications on your application form - if not included you may not be shortlisted.
During the apprenticeship training programme you will work towards achieving the requirements of the personal specification. The off the job training will be provided in house; all training will be within working hours.
The apprenticeship will generally take approximately 15 months to complete, including end point assessment.

On completion of the apprenticeship programme and meeting the necessary work standard, this role will move to NHS Agenda for Change Band 2, however, the weekly hours may be amended
To obtain venous blood samples from patients in the hospitals out patient department, in patient phlebotomy, community and in GP surgeries.
To book patients a blood test via emails or by taking direct phone calls off patients and all service users.
To meet and greet patients and all service users when they arrive at our phlebotomy reception
