Position Overview & Specifications

Operations and Supply Chain Assistant – Santoro (Wimbledon)

We are seeking an Operations and Supply Chain Assistant to join the busy team at our London HQ. This is an ideal role for a high-performing multi-tasker who will excel operating as a crucial hub of organisation and information; connecting and supporting cross departmental work flow.

The Santoro Group is a family run company of creative entrepreneurs. Our design, production, sales, marketing and licensing departments area all based in our London HQ with fulfilment and accounts teams based in our Rotherham warehouse. Together we create and distribute a broad variety of gift and lifestyle collections including 3D pop-up greetings, character brands and luxury interiors lines.

This role is perfect for a detail-orientated, organised self-starter who thrives on bringing logic and structure to processes, ensuring different teams are working in-step.

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with our logistics partners and our international suppliers to plan and oversee the import of incoming goods into our UK warehouse; including controlling schedules, processing shipping documentation and reconciling invoices for payment.
  • Maintain a critical path, scheduling and delivering the actions necessary to coordinate new product launches with marketing, sales and fulfilment teams.
  • Gather and verify new product information from the product development team to compile data sets suitable for application across catalogue, ERP and ecommerce systems.
  • Update and maintain accurate price lists across our platforms and supply channels.
  • Monitor stock levels, communicate availability updates and maintain systems to facilitate efficient stock movement through the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with sales and fulfilment teams to allocate stock, harmonise order processing priorities and troubleshoot supply chain issues.
  • Supply product documentation to facilitate order fulfilment / export.
  • Control pre-launch sample sets for use at trade shows, meetings and promotional activities.
  • Assist with international trade show planning and other marketing events.
  • Monitor end-of-line stocks, facilitate sample sales and other phase-out actions.
  • Support the wider team during busy periods, covering tasks when team members are absent, including processing orders and dealing with customer enquiries.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • A passion for stationery, gift and interiors products.
  • The ability to manage data effectively with excellent accuracy and numeracy.
  • Effective and engaged communication with strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • A confident, resilient, can-do attitude with a professional and friendly manner.
  • Superb organisational and time management skills.
  • Determination and tenacity to see through complex, long-term projects.
  • Practical, logical and effective problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach, and a team player willing to contribute to all areas of the business.

Experience within a similar role / inventory control systems would be advantageous.

We are looking for a hard-working, ambitious and engaged candidate who has achieved excellent grades through to degree level. If you are looking for a varied and challenging role then please send in your CV, covering letter and salary expectations. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Note: Only successful applicants will be notified. No agencies please!
