We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our small team at Sawrey House Hotel. Focused mainly on housekeeping but potentially some food service required, the successful candidate will show a commitment to high standards, organisation and attention to detail, as well as being able to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team. This is a hands on role that requires a flexible approach and a positive attitude and good health. Experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Performing a variety of housekeeping tasks, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensuring that guests' special requests and preferences are accommodated promptly and efficiently.
• Monitoring and restocking housekeeping supplies as needed, keeping an inventory of cleaning products and linens.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or repairs required to the appropriate departments.
• Collaborating with the hotel team to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere for guests.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a housekeeping role or a similar position is preferred but not essential.
• Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness to meet the hotel's standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with other team members and fulfill guest requirements.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
