Multi Skilled Ground Worker

Salary: c.£27,000 plus £1,000 annual Vehicle Responsibility Allowance

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Groundworker to join our Homefix External Repairs Team. You should have relevant experience, enjoy working outdoors and have a real drive to deliver great customer service.

As a Multi Skilled Groundworker you will be carrying out responsive repairs on our customers’ homes.

This would include tasks such as fencing, concrete path repairs, underground drainage, and any general repairs to the exterior of our properties. We are looking for someone who is confident working at heights to carry out domestic guttering clearances and repairs on various property types.

You could either be working on your own or as part of a two-person team, therefore you should be used to proactive problem solving, be able to demonstrate the value of Saxon Weald and using your initiative to deal with day to day issues. To be successful in this role you will need to have :

• Experience of all types of domestic fencing including chain-link
• Experience of groundworks; including repairing and replacing concrete paths/ramps, paving slabs, tarmac, underground drainage
• Brickwork skills; including repointing and general repairs
• Experience of facia and soffit repairs / replacements
• Experience of gutter repairs and clearances
• Evidence of delivering great customer service
• Confident and competent in utilising IT
• Housing Association experience would be an advantage but is not essential
