Description

What does the role involve?

• Create and deliver a test strategy and plan, covering the full scope of the business, project and all phases
• Agree and deliver a test approach alongside the project manager
• Document end to end test scripts for the business processes identified in scope
• Complete integration, regression and performance testing
• Manage user testing and the coordination of the subject matter experts for user testing
• Manage daily bug calls with the relevant consultant, developer and business users
• Provide progress updates of each test phase and report progress in an agreed template for each phase of the project
• Deliver a test strategy and plan for each phase of the project
• Deliver a test approach
• Document all test scripts for in scope items
• Complete integration, regression and performance testing
• Manage and support user testing
• Provide updates to the project manager on progress made throughout testing

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience of manual testing of an ERP system
• Experience in fast paced project environment with knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail
• The ability to work in a team and individually
• Organisational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines
• Minimum of 3 years’ manual testing experience in fast paced corporate environment

• Experience from working in a retail environment
• Knowledge of MS Business Central 365
• Experience in a senior testing role
