Workshop Assistant

Workshop Assistant Required - no experience or qualifications necessary as full training given.
Own transport preferred but not essential.

We are looking for a friendly outgoing person to join our small business and help with the workload.

You will be working independently most days to fabricate furniture.

Traits required:
Physically strong - the job is very physically demanding, lots of days you will be required to move pieces of furniture ranging from 20- 80 kilos.
Excellent time management skills.
Good work ethic.

Tasks Required:
Lifting very heavy items daily (Table tops, industrial steel bases)
Wrapping items
Finishing wood (oil, wax etc)
Sanding wooden surfaces
Assisting with a weekly collection by our logistics company (Lifting things onto a van and making up labels).
Welding and manufacturing furniture (full training given).
